The LifeGuard™️ Safety Hose technology is designed to eliminate the consequences of the hazardous effect of a drive-away, coupling separation, hose rupture or failure during fluid or gaseous transfer operations. In the event of a hose and coupling failure or excessive stretching, a patented internal cable connected to valves at each end of the hose closes the valves automatically. The result spills are maximized or eliminated before they happen. Its patent-pending technology is cost- effective and easy to deploy, and the improvement in safety is immediate. 

LifeGuard Technologies began with Joe Abrams’ work in cryogenics in 1958, and today the company has hoses worldwide in all industries and applications. More than 500,000 hoses with this technology have been sold since its invention including all Tier One and Tier Two gas companies making it the ‘Hose of Choice’ for the Industrial and Compressed Gas Industry. The late Joseph Abrams, former Chairman and Director of Engineering once said, “Most inventions are doomed to rapid extinction, but a few may make evolutionary inventions, and I hope that my technology will save lives for many years to come.”
